ACHERON To Film Cleveland Concert For Upcoming DVD

April 18, 2008

Black/death metal band ACHERON has issued the following update:

"Last year Dying Music re-released the classic 'Rites Of The Black Mass' album, which was first released back in 1991. After almost a year of playing their 'Rites Of The Black Mass' set to select audiences, black/death metal demons ACHERON will be doing a final swan song for that special set in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Peabody's Downunder. The band will be filming the show for an upcoming DVD entitled 'The Last Rites 2008'. The lineup for the show will be Vincent Crowley, Kyle Severn, Max Otworth and fill-in guitarist Ash Thomas from the band ESTUARY."

ACHERON founder Vincent Crowley says: "We have given many of our fans a glimpse into the bands past by playing these select shows. But this will be the last 'Rites of The Black Mass' show we do in the USA. What better way to finish then by filming a DVD of the last show? We have many fans and friends out there that support us, so we hope they all come out and join this diabolical party! It is a free show, so there should be no excuses!"

This is a free show but to enter you need a free ticket or copy of the flyer. Other bands scheduled to appear include THE CONQUERING, BITCHSLICER, KING, KERATOMA, GAPING ANUS and GROUND LIFT. Also featured will be the ladies/models from Spookygirls.com and Blackmetalbitches.com, modern art by Acid Rain and a contest to win free stuff from Horrormerch.com. And to top things off, Evil Monkey Films will also be filming footage for an upcoming porno movie entitled "One Of Those Nights".
